VersaDock returns to Seawork for 2017
Marine IP’s VersaDock, the global leader in floating pontoons and modular dock solutions, will be at Seawork in June once again.
The company will be showing visitors the modular blocks that make up the immensely diverse and flexible docks that the company offers to the commercial craft and on-water construction operations.
Marine IP will be demonstrating the versatility of the VersaDock product. There’s the VersaDock Static Drive on Dock, which all types of workboats and RIBs can be driven straight onto in seconds giving the vessel a stable dry and secure platform. Also on offer are pontoon and platform assemblies in an array of configurations for over/on-water access to construction projects and repairs.
VersaDock will be on stand Q20 in the open air. Marine IP’s Jamie Hooper says “In the past year we have completed some ambitious projects, often in collaboration with the customers’ contractors.”
A dry dock area of just under 250 sq m accommodating five drive-on docks was completed for Intermarine in Portsmouth, and the company has installed a new dock in St Helier for the RNLI offshore lifeboat to be dry-berthed and with enough room on the platform for regular maintenance work around the outside of the vessel.
Hooper adds “We are looking forward to meeting up with new and existing customers at Seawork including marina managers, harbour authorities and project managers to discuss installations and further collaborations.”
